Safeguarding Statement

The safety and wellbeing of every young person is our highest priority. We are committed to creating a safe, nurturing and supportive environment where students feel protected, respected and heard.

We recognise that safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and we work in partnership with schools, families and external agencies to promote the welfare of all young people within our provision.

Safeguarding Procedures

All safeguarding concerns are taken seriously and responded to in line with statutory safeguarding guidance and local safeguarding procedures.

Our staff are trained to identify and respond to concerns relating to:

  • abuse and neglect

  • child exploitation

  • online safety

  • mental health and wellbeing

  • peer-on-peer abuse

  • and contextual safeguarding risks
